A Runaway Car Crashes into Five Houses, One Hurt


GEORGE TOWN: Five houses were seriously damaged when a car crashed and knocked down the pillars of the pre-war homes in Kedah road Wednesday morning, causing its front facades to collapse.
In the accident, which occurred at 3am, only an Indonesian woman was slightly injured.
Police said six others occupants of the houses, who were asleep at that time, escaped unhurt.
It was learnt the car driver fled the scene, only to return some 90 minutes later to help police in the accident investigation.
